I recently edited up a set of photos of some lavender siberian irises I photographed in my studio. As with so many other photos I’ve taken recently, I seem to be concentrating more on the shapes of the petals and the colors in the flowers rather than on the whole flower. With these wonderful siberian irises, I loved the combination of the lavender and yellow 🙂

I’ve recently added a new photo –  Siberian Iris – to the shop on my BeautifulFlowerPictures.com website.
For me, there may be nothing so beautiful as a single flower. I photographed this beautiful siberian iris in my studio to highlight the beauty in this one wonderful iris.
Siberian Iris is available as a matted print on my website.

I’ve recently added a new photo –  Yellow & White Siberian Irises – to the shop on my BeautifulFlowerPictures.com website.
I love Siberian Irises. In 2015, I photographed a group of siberian irises in my studio – and rather than my usual photographing one perfect flower, I photographed a group of purple siberian irises. I was so pleased with what I created last year with the dark purple irises, I got a few more sets of irises to tried to create photos inspired by the ones I made last year. Here is one of my favorite photos I created when I brought some yellow and white siberian irises into my studio.

Some of my favorite flowers to photograph in the spring are the siberian irises. Since I’ve started photographing flowers in my studio, I’m able to photograph siberian irises more often than just during their bloom time and I’m able to create photos that I can’t do at the local gardens. I thought I’d share some of my favorite photos of siberian irises that I’ve taken in my studio with you today.
