Tulips are always one of my favorite spring flowers to photograph. And this year several local gardens had spectacular tulip displays which meant I had a wonderful photographing tulips this spring. Since I know many of you are also tulip fans, I thought I’d share some of my favorite tulip photos from this spring with you.

These Lightning Sun Tulips reminded me of some of the Dale Chihuly glass I photographed in Las Vegas.

I loved the combination of the bright red and yellow in the Abba, Akebono and Bright Parrot Tulips

I also photographed some tulips with much softer colors including Antoinette, Cretaceous, and Daydream.

And then there were all the textures and shades of pink in the Weber’s Parrot Tulips.

I can’t wait to start editing up some of these photos and making them available as prints so you can add them to your collections of my photos. In the meantime, I have made several of my older tulip photos available for a limited time.

You can see the tulip photos I have available for sale at http://beautifulflowerpictures.com/store/tulips/

And of course I’m already looking forward to photographing more incredible tulips next spring
