I’m back home after a few wonderful days in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I’d gone up to attend an Art Business Mastermind led by my coach Alyson Stanfield. While I was there, I took some time to visit (and photograph) at Lancaster’s historic Central Market.

Founded in 1730, Central Market is oldest continuously operated farmer’s market in the country! The market is currently housed in a Romanesque Revival style building constructed in 1889. Within the market, 65 vendors sell everything from meat to produce, flowers to baked goods, and everything in between. The market is open on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. If you’re in Lancaster, it’s well worth taking time out to visit the market (and get something to eat).

Here are a few of my favorite photos I took at the market

I’m already thinking about a return trip to Lancaster County just to spend some more time photographing in the area. If you’re familiar with Lancaster County, is there anywhere you would suggest I spend some time photographing? I’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments section below.
