I used to think the Dahlias were an old-fashioned flower that really weren’t very interesting to photograph. Well – let’s just say – after seeing the Philadelphia Dahlia Society show at Longwood Gardens and finding some amazing dahlias at my local farmer’s market and floral wholesaler – I’ve totally changed my mind about dahlias. I now love seeing and photographing them.
I went back over my files and discovered that I actually do have some wonderful photographs of dahlias so I’ve compiled some of them into a video to share what I’ve been seeing with you. The photographs are accompanied by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s
Rondo Alla Turca.

I do have a few dahlia photographs available for sale on my website. Two of my favorites are
