Bird Ornaments in the Kitchen Garden – Longwood Gardens – 2014

In addition to the wonderful bird ornaments on the tree in the Cascade Garden, the tree in the Kitchen Garden at Longwood Gardens had some spectacular bird ornaments this year. They reminded me of traditional German blown glass ornaments. Not only were the ornaments shaped like birds – but they were painted so that it was fairly easy to recognize some of the species of birds on the tree.
