Every year seeing the Christmas display at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is one of the highlights of my holiday season. I’ve already visited twice this year – and hope to get at least one more visit in before the A Longwood Christmas display ends in early January.
The theme for this year’s display is birds – there are amazing bird sculptures, decorations, and themed displays throughout the gardens. One of my favorite displays was in the Cascade Garden where there is a tree with wonderful blown-glass bird ornaments.
Here are a few of the wonderful birds on the tree in the Cascade Garden
I hope you enjoyed seeing the birds in the Cascade Garden. I’ll be sharing lots more photos from Christmas at Longwood Gardens in the coming days.
hi Patty, loved the birds! who made them? where? can we purchase them? i know you aren’t here to sell the beautiful glass sculptures–but they do appeal to the decorating urges, and a bird tree would be lovely! i guess they are sold at Longwood Gardens, if at all….
Can’t wait to see them. You’ve inspired me..I’m visiting Longwood this Christmas!
