I recently spent some time photographing a Black Baron Hibiscus. It’s a beautiful hibiscus full of color including yellow, red, pink, orange, peach. But as I looked at it – and my first few photos – I thought surely I can take photos of this amazing flower that are more interesting than just a portrait of the flower. I started considering the details of the flowers – especially the stamen and where the petals overlapped. I ended with something very different than my usual hibiscus photos. Hope you enjoy them.
Stunning burst of colour – I love the detail in the petals, like little rivers 🙂
