As promised, here are a few more of my azalea and rhododendron photos from this year. While their bloom was short this year due to weather – it was spectacular!

It seems like I’ve been photographing and editing lots of photos of rhododendrons and azaleas lately. I thought I’d share a few of them with you today and a few more later in the week

I’ve recently added a new photo – Azaleas at Callaway Gardens to my website at https://beautifulflowerpictures.com/store/azaleascallaway/
I’ve always heard about the magnificent azaleas at Callaway Gardens in Georgia. This spring I finally got to see them. While I missed the peak bloom, I did find some wonderful flowers to photograph including this orange azalea.
I photographed these flowers with a Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens to get the wonderful soft focus background behind the flowers.
This photo is available matted to 11 X 14 and 16 X 20.

The third garden I visited on my trip to the Atlanta area was Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain. I’ve heard for years about the azaleas at Callaway Gardens – and from what I saw – it must be spectacular when the azaleas bloom. I ending up visiting just after the early azaleas bloomed and just before the later ones bloomed. So not peak, but still very beautiful.
Here are some of my photos from my visit to Callaway Gardens.

As I walked through the woods I found beautiful scenes and lots of wildflowers to photograph.

I would love to visit Callaway Gardens again. My guess is that it’s a wonderful place to explore and photograph throughout the year.

Earlier this year, I spent a wonderful day photographing at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It was one of those days where the flowers were blooming, the sun was shining and I had could spend as much time as I wanted photographing. Here are a few of my photos from my day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

While I was in California last month, I spent a wonderful few hours at the Jensen Botanical Garden in Carmichael, California. I found some wonderful azaleas, irises and dogwood to photograph. All the photos were taken with my Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens.
