I recently photographed a couple of sets of tulips in my studio – I thought I’d share the photos with you today. Believe it or not – I bought both sets of tulips at my local grocery store!
This first set were parrot tulips – with red, great, yellow, and orange in the petals. They reminded me of all the colors in the rainbow
Late summer/early fall at the local gardens means it’s dahlia time. Every year, I’m amazed at the spectacular dahlias I see on display. This Hollyhill Pinkie Dahlia caught my eye and I couldn’t stop photographing it. I loved the shape of the petals. The fact that they are white with a border of bold pink just made them that much more special.
This photograph is available matted to 11 X 14 for $ 54 or 16 X 20 for $ 109
I’m back to working my way through the folders of unweeded and unedited photos sitting on my hard drive. Today I’m sharing a few photographs of spring wildflowers taken in early May in Delaware and Pennsylvania,.
Taken at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, Pennyslvania
When I saw this plum sunflower at the local market, I knew exactly how I wanted to photograph it. I wanted to share the details in the center and the wonderful combination of reds and yellows in the petals. This is one of the wonderful local flowers I photographed from Petal Patch Flower Farm.
This photograph is available matted to 11X14 for $ 54 or to 16 X 20 for $ 109
Continuing sharing all my photos of this year’s incredible poinsettia display. I’m just going to share them alphabetically across several posts – because there were so many wonderful poinsettias I just can’t limit myself to sharing only a few . . .
This is end of my photos of the 2018 Longwood Christmas display – unless I manage a quick trip up in the next few days to photograph the night time displays . . .
Only 11 months to go until the 2019 Longwood Christmas goes on display . . . I can’t wait . . .
