I will be at the at the Craftsmen’s Classic Art & Craft Show at the Richmond Raceway Complex in Richmond VA this weekend October 30 – November 1, 2015.
My booth will look a little different than it did when I was last in Richmond for a show. I’ve spent so much time in wonderful places photographing landscapes this year that I’ve decided to have both flower and landscape photographs available at the show this weekend. You can see all of my new photographs including landscapes from the Smokies, the Palouse and Savannah on my website in the New Photos Gallery.
Show hours are Friday October 30 – 10 AM to 9 PM, Saturday October 31 – 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday November 1 – 11 AM to 5 PM. I’ll be in booth 3416.

I’m really excited to be a part of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s The Garden Party: A Secret Garden event on April 24. The fundraiser supports the Children’s Garden at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and is inspired by Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic children’s book.
The Children’s Garden at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is an amazing space designed to allow children to explore the natural world in a fun way. Over 12,000 children a year are served by programs at the garden, nearly 1/3 are from low/moderate income families and participate for free. Programs are available for students ranging from pre-school to high school. There are also specific programs for home schoolers, and girl scouts.
In addition to the educational programs, the Children’s Garden also supports the Central Virginia Food Bank with donations of produce harvested from the six farm plots agricultural crops of Virginia and the Southeast. There are also some wonderful places to play and learn in the Children’s Garden.
I’ve always loved visiting Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and have been a member for several years. So I was honored to be asked to donate one of my photographs to this year’s Garden Party Event. There will be a Silent Auction featuring the work of 15 regional artists during the Garden Party. I’ve donated a 20X30″ canvas of my Texas Wildflowers in the Wind photograph.
Garden Party guests will spend the evening in and around the Bluementhal House, enjoying a cocktail reception, live music and the silent auction.

I will be at the at the Craftsmen’s Classic Art & Craft Show at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly VA this weekend March 20-22, 2015. The Spring Craftsmen’s Classic has always been one of my favorite shows to do – and it’s been almost eighteen months since I’ve done a show at Chantilly. I’ll be debuting a number of new photos at the show – can’t wait to see how people react to them.
My booth will look a little different that it did the last time I was at the Craftmen’s Classic. I’ll still be showing my flower photographs – just with matted prints in the bins and a combination of framed photographs and gallery wrapped canvases on the walls. If I get everything done that I want to before the show – almost everything on the walls will be new since I was last at Chantilly.
Show hours are Friday March 20 – 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday March 21 – 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday March 22 – 10 AM to 5 PM. I will be in booth 3314.
