Like many other photographers, I haven’t been out photographing much this spring – something about the stay-at-home orders and a pandemic. So I’ve been going back through some of the thousands of unweeded unedited photos on my hard drive and finding some to edit and share. Music (and Dancing) In the Streets

One of things I love to do in New Orleans is just walk around and listen to the music. Especially it the French Quarter – it seems like there is another set of wonderful musicians playing in the streets around every corner. And sometimes you come across people dancing to the music.

Details in the French Quarter of New Orleans

Sometimes when I’m walking around a city like New Orleans – I just wander with my camera in hand, photographing whatever catches my eye. When I get back and look at my photos for the day, sometimes I’ll see that a theme as emerged in my photos of the day. All of these photos came from a walk in the French Quarter where I seemed to be focusing on architectural details.
