Chincoteague? In January? Join Me for Photo Workshop

Bill and I went to Chincoteague, VA last weekend to work on plans for our January 24-26, 2014 Landscape Photography Workshop we’ll be teaching there. We had a great time photographing – so we recorded a short video to share some of the photos we took.

We’d love to have you join us for the workshop – all the details including registration info are on my website.

Lotuses, Sunflowers and More

I’ve had a few questions about where we’ll be photographing during my July 19-21 Capturing the Beauty of Nature: Photographing Flowers. The answer is – I’m not sure – it will depend on what locations have the best set of flowers in bloom that weekend. I’ve recorded this video to tell you about a few of my favorite places to photograph at in July. These are some of the places we may visit for our photography sessions during the workshop.

For more information about the workshop – or to register – visit my website. And remember – special early bird pricing ends on July 10.

Having so much fun with my Crown Graphic!

Bill and I have been out photographing with several of our large format film cameras recently. Not only is it lots of fun – but we want to make sure we’ve got all the cameras in good working order for our June 15 workshop
Retro Photography for the Digital Age: Photographing with Large Format Cameras and Instant Film.

As I talk with people about the workshop – I find that I’m always talking about how using a fully manual film camera really helped my digital photography. And of course – how much fun it is to photograph with the old cameras.

I’ve created a short video for you talking about why I like using my Crown Graphic.

For more information about the workshop – or to register – visit my website. And remember – special early bird pricing ends June 1.
