Earlier this year I had a chance to visit the New York Botanical Garden and saw the Dale Chihuly’s Show. I always love seeing and photographing his incredible glass sculptures. There are so many colors, textures and shapes in his work that I can photograph them for hours.
Three of my favorites at the New York Botanical Garden were his Koda Study 1, Koda Study 2 and Koda Study 3. All three featured colored glass structures above the water – with incredible colorful reflections in the water. I found myself creating all sorts of wonderful colorful abstract photos that day.
