With all the wonderful indoor Christmas decorations at Longwood Gardens you might think there isn’t much to see outside. But you’d be wrong. Every year, Longwood’s staff decorates parts of the outdoors as well
One of my favorite trees every year is the Wildlife Tree. The ornaments and garland on this tree are designed for the birds and other wildlife to enjoy. So when you visit this tree – you not only see another wonderful tree – you may also see birds, squirrels and chipmunks enjoying the tree.
And then there are the Tree Houses. There are three wonderful tree houses on the grounds at Longwood Gardens. They too are decorated for Christmas.
The Bird House
At Lookout Loft
And at the Canopy Cathedrahl
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my photos from this year’s Christmas at Longwood Gardens display. I’ll start sharing some of my poinsettia photos next week
This is the last post in the series of 2014 Christmas at Longwood Gardens – unless I make more trip to Kennett Square before January 11. I’ve only seen the Christmas display during daylight hours – never in the evening when all the lights are on throughout the grounds – and from what I hear -it’s amazing . . . 🙂
