Not long ago, I spent a wonderful morning photographing tulips. It was at the beginning of May – so towards the end of tulip season. Among the tulips I photographed were two types of Parrot Tulips – Fantasy and Texas Gold. Parrot Tulips are usually among the last tulips to bloom in the spring. They are known for their ruffled petals with frayed edges – and incredible color combinations. The ones I photographed certainly fit that description!
