I’ve recently added a new photo – Iris Reflections – to my BeautifulFlowerPictures.com website.
Last spring I spotted some wonderful yellow flag irises along the edge of a local pond. The first photos I took that morning were of the flowers – and then a few with the water line in the middle of the photo – flowers and land above the water line and the reflection below. But as I looked at the scene, I realized what interested me was the reflections of the irises and surrounding trees in the water. As the water rippled in the breeze, the reflections would change. Here is my favorite photo from that morning – Iris Reflections – where I emphasized the reflections in the water rather than the flowers and trees on the land.
This photograph is available as a matted print in two sizes. You can order Iris Reflections from my website.
Stunning photo! Always love reflections… Too bad those Iris are invasive..
I know – I was surprised to see them planted there. The good news is the pond is undergoing major renovations – so hopefully they won’t replant the yellow irises
