I’ve recently added a new photo – It’s a Girl Dahlias – to my BeautifulFlowerPictures.com website.
I first saw the It’s a Girl Dahlias at a commercial flower farm a few years ago – and fell in love with all the soft shades of pink in the blossoms. Since then, I’ve found them a few times at my local farmers market. Not long ago – I found this beautiful pair of It’s a Girl Dahlias and brought them into my studio. I tried photographing them against a white background -but quickly decided I liked them much better against the black background. I felt the contrast of the dark black helped make all the subtle shades of pink and yellow really stand out. I hope you enjoy seeing these beautiful dahlias as much as I do.
