Oak Alley Plantation, Vacherie, Louisiana

While I was in New Orleans earlier this year I spent a wonderful morning at Oak Alley Plantation in Vacharie, Louisiana. One of my goals for the trip was to come back with a good photo of the Alley of Live Oak tress that lead up to the plantation house. I’d visited the plantation before and just wasn’t happy with the photos I came home with. This time, I was much happier. The first two photos were taken from partway up the alley, showing the line of Live Oak Trees framing the plantation. The third photo was taken from the second floor porch – showing the view of the Live Oaks from the plantation house.
