Continuing with my photos of the Christmas display at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Today’s and tomorrow’s photos are of the light displays on the grounds.
The photos aren’t as sharp as photos I usually share – since I was photographing at night without my tripod. There were times when I was shooting at ISO 10000 to get barely acceptable shutter speeds. I ended up with photos good enough to share on the web – but certainly not good enough to print. The light displays at Longwood are spectacular – so I don’t even particularly care that my photos are as sharp as I’d like them to be!
These first photos were taken between the Visitor Center and Conservatory
Lights near du Pont House
One of the most spectacular displays was a tree near the meadow – where the roots were outlined with lights.
I’ll be sharing the rest of my photos of the outdoor lights at Longwood Gardens tomorrow.
