The dahlias have started blooming at local gardens – and I’m seeing some very beautiful flowers. I thought I’d share a few photos of two particularly wonderful dahlias I’ve photographed recently -the Pam Howden Dahlia and the Kidd’s Climax Dahlia.
Pam Howden is a waterlily dahlia. The waterlily dahlias are described as looking like floating waterlilies. It has petals in wonderful shades of pink, peach, orange and yellow.
Kidd’s Climax Dahlia is a dinnerplate dahlia. With blossoms that can be as large as 10 inches in diameter – they are often the size of dinnerplates. These wonderful pink and yellow dahlias are spectacular to see in a garden.
I’ll be posting more dahlia photos soon – in the meantime I hope you enjoy seeing these incredible dahlias.
