I’m back from New Orleans. I had a wonderful time leading my photo tour and sharing the sights, sounds and tastes of the city with my students. I thought I’d share a few of my photos from my trip with you today.
Mardi Gras was a few days before my trip, but there were still plenty of decorations to see (and photograph).

Every day, there were musicians playing in streets so the sounds of Jazz can be heard throughout the French Quarter.

You never know what you’ll see as you walk down the street.

And for me, no trip to New Orleans is complete without visiting some of my favorite places, including Mardi Gras World and Oak Alley Plantation.

I’m already working on plans for my 2019 New Orleans Photo Tour. Dates will likely be March 10 – 15, 2019. The photo tour will be limited to 7 participants. If you’d like to be among the first to hear the details of my 2019 photo tour, just drop me a note at patty@hankins.net and I will let you know as soon as I have more information available.
