Photos from the Road: New Orleans

I’m back from New Orleans. I had a wonderful time leading my photo tour and sharing the sights, sounds and tastes of the city with my students. I thought I’d share a few of my photos from my trip with you today.

Mardi Gras was a few days before my trip, but there were still plenty of decorations to see (and photograph).

Every day, there were musicians playing in streets so the sounds of Jazz can be heard throughout the French Quarter.

And for me, no trip to New Orleans is complete without visiting some of my favorite places, including Mardi Gras World and Oak Alley Plantation.
