I’m just back from a wonderful trip to New Orleans. I’m considering offering a photo tour there in the future so decided I needed to do some scouting of the area to identify locations I’d like to share with others on a workshop. And of course, while I was there – I spent the week photographing.
Like I often to, I did some quick edits on some of my photos to share them on social media while I was on the road. I thought I’d share a few of these photos from the road with you today. These are a few of the photos I took of the amazing musicians I saw and heard as I walked around the French Quater.
One of the great New Orleans traditions I managed to see was a Second Line. Second Lines are parades/processionals organized by various groups – each one is led by a jazz band. The first Second Line I photographed was for a conference, the second was for a wedding.
These are just a few of the photos of musicians I took in New Orleans. I’ll be sharing more photos as I edit them. And I”ll be sharing more of my New Orleans photos from the road later this week.
