I’m back from an amazing trip photographing in Nevada and Utah. I went west to take a Contemplative Photography workshop with George DeWolfe and Lydia Goetze where we photographed in Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada and Zion National Park in Utah. I also spent time photographing on the strip in Las Vegas on either end of the trip.
The photos I’m sharing today are some of my favorites from the trip. These are quick edits usually done late at night after a long day spent photographing – so these aren’t “finished” photographs by any stretch of the imagination.
Las Vegas
Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada
Zion National Park, Utah
I’ll be sharing more of my quick edits from the trip in the weeks to come – and eventually I’ll have some fully edited photos available for sale. In the meantime, I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing some of my photos from my trip to Las Vegas, Valley of Fire and Zion National Park.
You’ve got a great eye for composition.
Thanks Barbara 🙂
Stunning and evocative – breathtaking!
Thanks Marlene
Patty, the top picture looks like a work by the glass artist Dale Chihuly. Is it?
Yes – it’s Dale Chihuly’s ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio hotel
Wow, Patty, I love seeing the outcomes of your recent road trips to new settings – thanks for sharing with us! John
Glad you enjoyed seeing them 🙂
