Yesterday, Bill and I joined over 60 other photographers for a Photowalk in Gettysburg, PA organized by Andy Smith of Visual Realia. Andy did a fantastic job publicizing the photowalk in the local media – so we had lots of first time photowalkers joining the group. A local reporter attended part of the walk so hopefully we’ll see some follow up press as well.

For us – it was a chance to see friends we’ve met at other photowalks – and a chance to meet some new people. Andy brought along nametags and had a signup sheet available – which made it much easier to remember people’s names and will make it easier to keep in touch afterwards.

Here are some photos of some of our fellow photowalkers from the walk in Gettysburg.

There were lots of families with the group this time. Here’s one of the adorable little kids on the photowalk.

As you can see – you’re never to young to participate in a photowalk.

Bill used his Graflex RB Super D SLR camera with Fuji instant film. The combination of camera and film is wonderful for informal portraits.

It’s always fun to photograph our fellow photowalkers photographing. And I’ve already seen a few photos of Bill and I up on the Flickr group for the Gettysburg Photowalk.

I’ll post more of our photos from the walk later in the week. We had a fantastic time in Gettysburg. Thanks Andy for organizing such a great photowalk.
