Continuing sharing all my photos of this year’s incredible poinsettia display. I’m just going to share them alphabetically across several posts – because there were so many wonderful poinsettias I just can’t limit myself to sharing only a few . . .
And now it’s time for the other half of my Christmas at Longwood Gardens photos – all my photos of this year’s incredible poinsettia display. I’m just going to share them alphabetically across several posts – because there were so many wonderful poinsettias I just can’t limit myself to sharing only a few . . .
Is it bad when you realize in late November 2018 that you never edited or shared your poinsettia photos from 2017???? I recently made my first trip to Longwood Gardens for the 2018 Longwood Christmas and while I could remember my photos of the Christmas display, I couldn’t remember any of my poinsettia photos. When I got home – I took a look – and they weren’t on my blog. So I looked in my unweeded photo directory – and there they were. So I quickly edited up the best of them – and I shared some of my photos on Monday and am sharing the rest of them here today.
And now that I’ve share my final poinsettia photos from 2017 – it’s time for me to start sharing my best photos from the 2018 Longwood Gardens Christmas display. Look for the Christmas photos starting next week.

Last weekend I made my first trip to see the Christmas display at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. This year’s theme is french influences on the DuPont family. And as usual, the Christmas display is spectacular. I’m planning at least two more trips up to see and photograph it before it closes in early January.
In addition to all the themed decorations, there are several varieties of poinsettias on display. As I photographed them, I thought about all the wonderful poinsettias I’ve photographed at Longwood and other gardens over the years, and decided to create a video of some of my favorites to share with you. My photos in the video are accompanied by Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 17 in B Flat Major III.
