I recently photographed some wonderful poppy anemones in my studio. I had both pale pink and purple blossoms. It seems like whenever I photograph poppy anemones, most of photos highlight the colors in the petals and the great textures in the centers. I hope you enjoy seeing this set of poppy anemones.

I’ve recently added a new photo – Lavender Poppy Anemone – to the shop on my BeautifulFlowerPictures.com website.
I see poppy anemones a few times a year at local botanical gardens. When I spotted this lavender one, I knew I had to photograph it. I found the center details of this blossom fascinating. I particularly liked the way the water drops added to the photo.
Lavender Poppy Anemone is available as a matted print on my website.

A few months ago I found a wonderful set of purple and white poppy anemone flowers and brought them home into my studio to photograph. I had a great time capturing all the wonderful shades of purple and the delicate centers of the flowers. I thought I’d share some of my favorite photos from that set with you today.

On a recent visit to Longwood Gardens, I photographed some Poppy Anemones (Anemone Coronaria) in along the Garden Path in the East Conservatory. I loved seeing all the different colors of flowers growing on the same plant.
Among the various colors of flowers were light pink
