Imagine spending a morning photographing and spending time with other flower lovers at Brookside Gardens – Montgomery County Maryland’s premier public garden.

Imagine yourself photographing in a beautiful garden. Smelling the wonderful aromas. Hearing the songbirds in the woods. Learning how to take better photographs from a professional flower photographer. Getting to know other flower photographers. Getting the help you need to improve your photography.

You can do all this — and more – by joining me for one of my morning photography workshops at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland.

The workshops will run from 7:00 – 9:00 AM. During that time, we’ll have a brief discussion of flower photography and then head into the garden to photograph. I’ll be with you all morning helping you create wonderful photographs.  Once we’re done photographing at the garden, we can head out to breakfast and talk photography.

You can use any camera from a simple point-and-shoot camera to the latest DSLR or mirrorless camera. If you have a macro lens and/or a tripod – bring them along. You may find them helpful for photographing during the workshop. But if you don’t have them, please DO NOT go out and purchase them just for this workshop.

Registration for the workshops is $ 75.00.  Workshop is limited to 6 students, so I can make sure I can give you the personalized attention you need.

Refund Policy:

1. You can always transfer your reservation to anyone else, at any time, with no penalty. Can’t attend? Send a spouse, friend or colleague in your place!

2. We charge a $25 handling fee on all refunds (read #3 and #4 below).

3. Prior to one week before the workshop you registered for,  we will gladly refund the balance of fees you paid to us (less the $25 handling fee). We are not responsible for airfare or other expenses you may incur.

4. Within one week of the workshop you registered for, there are no refunds.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:

We will plan on photographing rain or shine. We do not photograph if there are thunderstorms forecast for the morning of the workshop. I will closely monitor the weather forecast in the days leading up to the workshop and make any weather related decisions the day before the workshop. Your safety is my number one concern.

If I cancel the workshop for any reason, your registration fee will be refunded in full.
