I’m busy working out all the details for the photo workshops and tours I’ll be offering the spring of 2017. I don’t have dates or prices finalized, but I’m close enough that I wanted to let you know what I’m planning.
In January – probably on Saturday the 21st – I’ll be teaching my Photographing Flowers in the Studio workshop. It’s a chance to learn a bit about photographing in a studio using both strobes and continuous lights. You can read about last year’s workshop at http://beautifulflowerpictures.com/photographing-flowers-in-the-studio-workshop/
In February – probably the 10th through the 12th – Bill and I will be teaching our Winter’s Beauty at Chincoteague and Assateague workshop. Join us for a weekend of photographing wonderful beaches and marshes. You can read about last year’s workshop at http://beautifulflowerpictures.com/winters-beauty-at-chincoteague-and-assateague/
In March – probably March 26th through April 1st – I’ll be leading my Springtime in the South photo tour. We’ll spend several days exploring and photographing in Savannah, Charleston and the South Carolina Low Country. You can read about last year’s workshop at http://beautifulflowerpictures.com/springtime-in-the-south-savannah-charleston-and-the-south-carolina-low-country/
In May – probably the 15th through the 21st – I’ll be leading a new photo tour – we’ll be photographing gardens in the Greater Philadelphia area. Some of the garden’s I’m considering including in the tour are Longwood Gardens, Chanticleer, Winterthur, Mt Cuba Center and Presby Memorial Iris Gardens.
And finally in June – probably the 9th through the 11th – I’ll be teaching my Photographing Flowers (Without Swearing at Your Camera) workshop. It’s a chance to improve your flower photography as we photograph at several gardens in the DC area and talk about the art and craft of flower photography. You can read about last year’s workshop at http://beautifulflowerpictures.com/photographing-flowers-without-swearing/
All my workshops and photo tours are limited to 6 or fewer participants to ensure that I’m able to give you the personalized attention you should get in a photography workshop.
I’ll be opening up registration for my spring workshops over the next several weeks as I get the details finalized. If you know you’re considering taking one (or more) of my 2017 workshops – drop me a note at patty@hankins.net and let me know what you interested in. That way I let you know as soon as registration opens for specific workshops and tours.
I’d love to have you join me next year, and allow me to help you create the photos you’ve always wanted to create.
